Quantya Electric Bike tries Moto Gymkhana
A few weeks ago Quantya UK Sales Manager Rob had a go at Moto Gymkhana.
Moto Gymkhana is a motorcycle riding event set on an enclosed obstacle-laden track, usually a car park or similar tarmac area. The participants take turns following a defined route around a number of obstacles with the aim of completing the course in the quickest time possible. Moto-Gymkhana is designed to offer the greatest riding challenge at the least possible risk. Riders enter events as individuals and as there is no restriction on the type or capacity of motorcycle used, it’s really easy to get started
After having ridden the bike, the Moto Gymkhana staff think that this type of bike might be ideally suited to Moto Gymkhana as it can compete on equal terms with petrol engined bikes.

Quantya Electric Motorbikes at the Red Marley Hill Climb 2011
Here is a small edit we put together of our day at the Red Marley Hill Climb. For the first time ever there was an electric bikes class which served as a great way of demonstrating the bikes and giving the motorbike enthusiasts a glimpse into what the future may be like. It was a great day and raised lots of money for Help for Heroes – which is a great cause.
Here are a couple of other videos we found on Youtube.
