We took the Track down to the Motocross Challenge Project in Dover for them to have a test run. Kent on Sunday were there to take photos and do a write up. The article focuses on the green aspect of electric motorbikes over combustion engine motorbikes, as well as the drastically reduced noise.

The full article has now been released. It is a good review of the Quantya and it’s capabilities. Their test was thorough. It pointed out the key differences between riding a Quantya electric motorcycle to a combustion engine motorcycle, as well as the benefits. The downsides were not overlooked either. There are a lot of skeptics out there but we are winning more and more over.

We went down to Wheeldon Farm in Devon last December to meet up with the test riders from Trail Bike and Enduro magazine, or TBM as it is known. They tested both the Track and the Strada. First the Strada was tested. It was taken along a great big enduro route including some deep mud and water. They loved the Strada. Next the Track was tested. This time in an indoor test track which they use as a learning facility all year round. The tight track was great for the Quantya as it played to its strengths. The report has not been put online, but check it out in the January issue of TBM.
Late last year on a very cold morning we drove up to Fat Cats in Doncaster. The guys from Dirt Bike Rider turned up with their photo and video gear and the test pilot Tony Marshall arrived and got kitted up. It was pretty nerve racking as this was the first time we had press test the bike. The guys were very knowledgable and gave us some great feedback and comparisons to existing MX bikes. We so often look accross the water to our friends in the US. They seem to get everything before us. I just spotted a great review of the Quantya Strada and some interesting comments from a number of people on a popular US forum.
It is always interesting to know what other people think about the Quantya bikes.
