A new video has been released of the Quantya Race in Meinisberg by Team Remotions. This is the first ever Quantya only race. The video shows off just how capable the Quantya Track is of racing and being a fun dirt bike.
Meinisberg in Switzerland was the location of the first ever Quantya Race – a Quantya only race. There was a good turn out and lots of competitors making the event a total success. You can see more pictures at the official Quantya gallery on Picasa.
At the EVS24 green vehicle conference taking place in Stavanger Quantya announced they are producing an electric sports bike which will be capable of 100mph. There are not many details at this point but this is what is being said:
An all electric showdown was organised at the Orleans Arena, Las Vegas during the half time show of the AMA/Maxxis MiniMoto Supercross race. Quantya and Zero both entered five bikes each. Quantya came in first and second with Zero coming in third. It was great to showcase electric bikes to the masses this way and prove that they can perform and are the best way forward for the dirt bike industry.
The guys from Quantya USA, Dirt Rider Magazine have teamed up with a rider from Metal Mulisha to do something truly amazing. This could even be a world first. They have performed what might possibly be the worlds first backflip on an electric motorbike.
